ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
MY STORY
I consider myself one of the lucky ones who gets to wake up excited to do their job every day.
I’ve always been really good at one thing: writing. Growing up, I was always told by teachers that if I didn’t go into writing professionally, it would be a mistake. So when I went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, my editorial journalism degree was never something I debated—and neither was my goal of making a name for myself in women’s media.
I’ve always known that I wanted to work in fashion and beauty journalism, and when I took a semester off of college in 2016 to intern in the fashion closet at Cosmopolitan, my goal was solidified. I began working at The Everygirl after I graduated from college in 2018, and after various roles, have been running the fashion and beauty sections since 2021.
